    Overview

    Heritage Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dependable Senior Caregiver to join our team! Our caregivers make a meaningful difference every day by helping clients maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life in the place they call home.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
    • Follow prescribed healthcare plans
    • Provide mobility assistance (e.g., transfers from bed, chair, or wheelchair)
    • Maintain a clean and safe home environment by assisting with light housekeeping
    • Offer emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to clients
    • Escort or transport clients to appointments or errands as needed
    • Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, or needs to the clinical team
    • Adhere to all care plans and delegation instructions provided by licensed professionals

    Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
    • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
    • Previous caregiving experience preferred
    • Must be able to work independently and follow instructions accurately
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Reliable independent transportation and valid car insurance
    • Must live in Santa Fe, NM or surrounding areas
