What You’ll Be Doing:
As our full-time SLP, you will be the cornerstone of our speech, swallowing, and cognitive therapy programs.
- Evaluate & Treat: Provide comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia).
- Innovate: Utilize evidence-based practices to help our residents regain independence and improve their quality of life.
- Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with our PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and dietary team to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.
- Educate: Empower patients, families, and facility staff with the knowledge and strategies they need to support recovery.
- Document: Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: Active (or pending) state SLP license in IN.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC-SLP) is highly preferred. (Strong CFYs with a passion for adult/geriatric rehab will be considered!)
- Experience: Previous experience in a SNF or adult rehab setting is a plus, but a collaborative mindset and passion for patient care are what matter most.
- Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
