Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Spearfish, SD
Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Spearfish, SD. If you have a passion for helping patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities, this opportunity is perfect for you!
Job Description:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide therapy to patients of all ages in a healthcare setting
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment techniques and strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Utilize innovative techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in South Dakota (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- BLS certification required
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
