Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Case Manager with our Men's Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Outpatient Program and help individuals build healthier, more stable lives through recovery-focused support and care. This onsite position works closely with Utah County Drug Courts and PAR Programs, providing essential case management services to adults navigating substance use recovery. Earning $21.15–$29.58/hour, you'll play an important role in supporting clients through individual and group services, skills development, and practical sober living support. Our outpatient program offers both General Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient treatment using evidence-based curricula such as Seeking Safety, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Smoking Cessation, and Connections. With both day and evening treatment options available, this role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, solution-focused, and passionate about helping others achieve long-term recovery and stability.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
Compensation:$21.15–$29.58 DOE and Licensure

What You'll Do as a SUD Case Manager

  • Provide ongoing case management and recovery support services for individuals in the Men's SUD Outpatient Program
  • Conduct intake assessments using ASAM criteria and assist in determining appropriate levels of care
  • Help clients develop treatment goals, coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and recovery plans
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and Relapse Prevention techniques
  • Coordinate services with Drug Courts, PAR Programs, legal systems, treatment providers, and community agencies
  • Assist clients with accessing community resources, sober living supports, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
  • Advocate for client needs and support clients in building healthy community connections and long-term recovery supports
  • Accurately implement, document, and maintain client service plans and case records
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and collaborative treatment planning discussions
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing while maintaining professional and trauma-informed care practices

Qualifications

Applicants must meet ONE of the following:

Note: Applicants under the "working toward SUDC or SSW" pathway must obtain their SUDC or SSW license within 24 months of hire.

  • Bachelor's degree with Social Service Worker (SSW) license or Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC/LASUDC)
  • Bachelor's degree in any field with willingness to pursue SSW or SUDC/LASUDC licensure

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic understanding of Social Work principles
  • Familiarity with social welfare policy and human development
  • Ability to problem-solve and maintain a client-centered approach
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for increased wages after testing
