    Job Description

    Full Time Substitute Teacher - Middle School

    Limited Term Employment for the 2026-27 school year / $245 per day

    License: Substitute Teacher (T601 or T910) or willing to obtain licensure upon hire (Acquiring Licensure requires 8 hours of on-line or in-person instruction, then apply through the Department of Public instruction, and pay the licensure fee of $125.00). Must have an Associate's degree or higher.

    As a Substitute Teacher, you will provide classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans. You'll maintain the established routine of the school and classroom, and maintain a safe and orderly environment conducive to learning. This position floats to the greatest area of need throughout the building on any given day and at times, be in one position for longer periods of time if needed. This is a full-time position and will be contracted for all student contact days for the 2026-27 school year.

    • Plan and deliver effective instruction that regularly integrates technology, engages students, enhances student learning experiences and provides students opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
    • Use data to adapt teaching methods, instructional materials and assessment strategies to meet the varying needs and interests of individual learners.
    • Believe that all students can grow and achieve at a high level and own student success.
    • Serve with professionalism and high integrity.
