Full-Time Summer Support Teacher
Primrose School of Leesburg at Potomac Station
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Primrose Preschool is seeking a reliable, energetic, and caring Full-Time Summer Support Teacher to join our team for the summer season. This role supports classrooms across multiple age groups and helps create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
- Support mealtimes, nap times, and transitions throughout the day
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Engage children in educational and age-appropriate activities
- Provide positive guidance and encouragement to students
- Help ensure all licensing and safety procedures are followed
- Communicate professionally with staff and families as needed
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible
- Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day
- Must pass required background checks and meet state childcare requirements
Schedule
- Full-time summer position
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
