Description
The Subspecialty Surgical PA Service at Vassar Brothers Medical Center is seeking to add a full-time board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its surgical APP team. The Surgical APP Service at Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a hospital-based group that offers a supportive and team-based environment with exposure to multiple surgical subspecialties including but not limited to Urology and Gyn-Oncology. The surgical rounder will care for all surgical inpatients, perform consults, admissions, and discharges. This position currently does not require O.R. first assisting.
This position is for full-time days, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (4 day work week), with required holiday coverage, weekend and call obligation.

Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a 365-bed facility that has served New York's Mid-Hudson Valley since 1887. Overlooking the beautiful Hudson River in the city of Poughkeepsie, NY, Vassar has established centers of excellence in cardiac services, cancer care and women and children's health services. This is an extraordinary time for the hospital with new ACGME-accredited residency programs and planning is underway for the Marist-Nuvance Health Medical School. Additionally, a new state-of-the-art patient pavilion which features all private rooms.

From hiking, biking, and boating, to cafes, art galleries, and local farmers markets, this beautiful suburban location offers endless ways to spend your leisure time. Salary: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually; commensurate or relative to experience
