Full-Time Tenure Track Faculty Counselor
Department: Student Development Services
Reports To: Associate Dean of Retention
Salary range: $71,619 - $99,041* annually
Olympic College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Faculty Counselor to begin working Fall Quarter, 2026. The College is seeking outstanding candidates with a strong commitment to equity and social justice and a passion for providing high quality counseling services to a diverse student population. The staff of Olympic College Counseling Services, housed within the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services, work as a team to provide direct services and referrals to enhance student retention and success. Counselors also serve as a supportive resource for, and provide consultation to, faculty and staff regarding their student-related concerns. Faculty members must submit official, unopened transcripts to the Human Resources department within 30 days of their employment.
This is a full-time faculty position contracted on an annual basis. Placement on the faculty salary schedule will be commensurate with educational background and experience. The salary will be prorated to reflect the actual contract days remaining in the academic year. The salary listed is a range based on per month for the quarter. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Association for Higher Education (AHE). Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the department. Evening and/or weekend classes, instruction at satellite Olympic College campuses, and off-campus assignments may be a part of the instructional load.
