Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for one of our valued healthcare partners in Grants, New Mexico. Position Overview
The Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accuracy in imaging results. This role requires experience across multiple specialties and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast imaging
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality care
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
Required Experience- Obstetric (OB) Ultrasound
- General Ultrasound
- Vascular Ultrasound
- Breast Ultrasound
Education & Certification Requirements- Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required
- ARRT (Sonography) certification accepted if applicable
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum of 12 years of recent ultrasound experience preferred
