Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – East of Gallup, NM

Position Overview
The Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accuracy in imaging results. This role requires experience across multiple specialties and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast imaging
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality
• Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality care
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions

• Obstetric (OB) Ultrasound
• General Ultrasound
• Vascular Ultrasound
• Breast Ultrasound

Education & Certification Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required
• ARRT (Sonography) certification accepted if applicable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent ultrasound experience preferred
