Pay: $22–$25 per hour (approximately $46,000–$52,000 per year, depending on experience)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend work as needed
Job Description: We are looking for a full-time utility assistant to support daily operations in a hands-on role. This position is ideal for someone who likes to stay busy, take initiative, and be a reliable right-hand helper.
The work is varied — some days in the yard or shop, some days on job sites, some days running parts or helping crews. When things slow down, there’s always something that can be organized, cleaned, staged, or prepared for the next job. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in being dependable.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize parts, tools, trucks, and inventory
- Pick up and deliver materials to job sites
- Safely pull and back a trailer
- Help load junk, equipment, and materials
- Assist crews in the field as needed
- Photograph and list items for sale online
- Assist with delivery, setup, and breakdown of rental equipment
- Keep the yard, shop, vehicles, and equipment clean and ready
- Look for productive tasks during slower periods
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable with physical work
- Valid driver’s license and good driving habits
- Experience pulling a trailer is a plus (or willingness to learn)
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to help where needed
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos and communication
- Team-oriented attitude and pride in doing things right
