Background Investigation, High School Diploma, Interviewing Skills, Lesson Plans, Online Training, Training/Teaching
CONDITIONS:
- $16.75 Per Hour, 7.5 hours per day
- 180 Work Days, days students are in session
- Times may be determined by building principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Substitute Teaching Permit/Indiana Teaching License
- High School Diploma or equivalent considered
- College degree preferred
- Successful Safe Hiring Solutions Extensive Background Check
- Completion of Substitute Teacher Packet along with mandatory Internet Based Training
- Successful experience working with school-aged children
- Completed online application and successful interview with Principal
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow the regular teachers lesson plans and maintain discipline in the classroom at a level in which learning can take place
- Expectation is that these two responsibilities will be carried out in a climate of respect and caring for the students
- A substitute may cover several different content areas during a day, so the candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to various environments.
- Other duties as assigned by Principal
