Pay Rate: $50.00 - $55.00per hr.

Our client is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Developer to support an established application used to manage and track employee assignments for global educational programs.
The application utilizes a React front end and .NET backend, and this role will focus on enhancing existing functionality, developing new features, troubleshooting issues, and supporting ongoing application improvements.

This is a true full-stack development role, with the workload expected to be fairly evenly divided between frontend and backend development. The developer will also support activities related to preparing the application for migration from an on-premises environment to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working within an existing application and codebase, developing new functionality, collaborating with technical and business teams, and using modern development tools including AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using React and .NET/C#.
• Work across both frontend and backend development, with a relatively equal emphasis on each.
• Design and implement new application features and enhancements.
• Analyze existing functionality and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Work within an established codebase and application architecture.
• Use Git and GitHub for source control and collaborative development.
• Track development work using Azure DevOps Boards or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support application testing, debugging, deployment, and production support activities.
• Participate in efforts to prepare the application for migration from an on-premises environment to Microsoft Azure.
• Assist with identifying application dependencies, configuration requirements, and potential migration considerations.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, troubleshooting, documentation, and overall developer productivity.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years professional experience with C#/.NET Application Development
• 4+ years professional experience React UI Development
• Azure DevOps Boards or Similar Work Item Tracking Tools
• Git/GitHub Source Control
• AI-Assisted Development Tools (e.g., Claude)

Bonus Skills:

• This will be supporting the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint's Seminary and Institute programs so experience with educational institutions would be valuable.
