What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Build robust APIs that support high-volume transactions and data processing.
• Collaborate with a small team to take features from concept to production.
• Ensure system reliability and performance through rigorous testing and optimization.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with industry trends in AI and machine learning to inform product development.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2-5 years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js, with a solid understanding of PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience building production-grade systems and scalable backend APIs.
• Demonstrated ownership of features and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in early-stage startups, contributing to a culture of innovation and agility.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $180K to $220K, complemented by equity options of 1% to 2%. This opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact in a growing company at the intersection of finance and AI.
