Responsibilities:
Assist walk-in and phone customers in identifying and sourcing the correct automotive parts and accessories
Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale and parts lookup systems
Maintain and stock shelves to ensure product availability and store organization
Build strong relationships with DIY customers, professional mechanics, and fleet accounts
Look up parts using NAPA catalogs, electronic databases, and cross-reference tools
Handle special orders, returns, and core exchanges efficiently
Support team members and contribute to achieving store sales goals
Requirements:
Prior experience in automotive parts sales or a strong knowledge of vehicle parts and systems
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to use computerized parts lookup and inventory management systems
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a full-time schedule including weekends
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
High school diploma or equivalent required
