Job Overview

Supports internal staff and processes for the County's electronic procurement system, Euna Procurement. This position will perform advanced functional and process analyses to develop and deliver findings, recommendations and solutions for implementation, and lead the Power BI initiative for ongoing updates and presentation of key performance measures. This position uses technical knowledge, business acumen, and customer service skills to evaluate the impact of Euna Procurement updates and patches. Use analytical, problem solving, and processes improvement skills (requirements gathering, research/documentation/process mapping and development of recommendations) to support procurement operations and time-certain transactional tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides Euna Procurement advanced level troubleshooting, solutioning, and training to County staff associated with procurement solicitations.
  • Evaluate system, policy, document, or procedure updates; develop plans to communicate changes to end users.
  • Leads and/or functions as a subject matter expert for projects or work groups tasked with developing system, documents, trackers, procedures and improvements directly impacting procurement staff and requesting departments.
  • Develops and maintains thorough understanding of Euna Solution modules and business processes as well as underlying data sources through independent research and utilizing Euna online education tools.
  • Works in partnership with Procurement Services leadership to discuss and share ideas, troubleshoot issues and develop solution documentation, training, and develop action plans.
  • Communicates and collaborates with all levels of staff providing direction and hands-on end-to-end analysis of complex issues.
  • Use technical knowledge and business acumen to analyze and reconfigure processes and functionality to create efficiencies and in support of best practices.
  • Responds to user ad-hoc requests for data, advising and assisting with options for providing requested information.
  • Use analytical, problem solving, and processes improvement skills to support procurement operations and time-certain transactional tasks.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Nature of Work

Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Working Conditions

Indoor, mostly home office, occasional in-person meetings as conditions allow.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Administration, Information Management System, Public Administration, Finance, or related field; AND

Five years of professional experience in the development, implementation, business process analysis, and evaluation of business methods and procedures.

OR An equivalent combination of education (not less than a high school diploma/GED), training, and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted below. (For education and experience only, does not include legally required Licenses or Certifications.)

Must possess a valid Florida Driver''s License
