Position Title: Functional Systems Administrator Level II x2

Location: San Angelo, TX (On-Site)

Clearance Requirements: TS SCI

Pay Rate: $62,000.00 annually

Position Description:

Join a dynamic team supporting critical intelligence training systems and applications at Goodfellow Air Force Base. As a Functional Systems Administrator Level II, you will serve as a technical point of contact for intelligence training software, hardware, and network systems. Your expertise will help ensure seamless operations, provide hands-on support and training to instructors and users, and maintain the integrity and security of classified and unclassified environments. You'll manage VM infrastructure, deploy system images, troubleshoot technical issues, and support cyber security protocols. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to national security initiatives within a collaborative, mission-focused environment on-site in San Angelo, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-user support for intelligence training applications and systems, resolving hardware and software issues quickly and effectively.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms, including software applications, peripherals, and specialized tools.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures, technical guides, and documentation.
• Support computer-based training programs such as LMS, IMI, and ICW, ensuring smooth operation and updates.
• Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environment, including deploying and configuring virtual machines, images, and infrastructure components.
• Support cybersecurity protocols, submit and track tickets, and coordinate with security teams for issue resolution.
• Conduct classroom support and training sessions for instructors and students.
• Build, test, and deploy system baselines, images, and updates within a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
• Perform routine backups and system restores, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
• Provide after-hours support as needed to meet operational demands.

Top Requirements:

• Active TS SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related field; military training or certifications in cybersecurity or IT are also acceptable
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in system administration and IT support within complex enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, Horizon, and related virtualization technologies
• Experience supporting intelligence training applications and cybersecurity tools
• IT certifications such as Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or Cloud+ and IAT Level II certification
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
