Fund Accountant

This Fund Accountant opportunity offers hands-on experience supporting investment funds while building a strong technical foundation in accounting and fund operations.
As an Fund Accountant , you will play a key role in the day-to-day oversight of fund activity, including expense analysis, reconciliations, and operational processes. The Fund Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement across fund operations.


This Fund Accountant position is ideal for recent graduates with accounting internships or early-career professionals with 1+ years of experience who want to deepen their knowledge in fund accounting and investment products. If you are detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn, the Fund Accountant role offers a clear path for growth.

What You’ll Do:



  • Review fund expense calculations, accruals, and invoices prepared by custodians

  • Perform reconciliations and analyze fund transactions such as subscriptions and redemptions

  • Support income and capital gain distribution processes

  • Assist with valuation reviews, pricing exceptions, and issue resolution

  • Monitor service providers and help track, resolve, and escalate operational issues

  • Contribute to regulatory and performance reporting efforts

  • Participate in process improvement, automation, and technology initiatives


What We’re Looking For in a Fund Accountant:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Accounting internship experience or 1+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Interest in investment funds, financial markets, or fund administration

  • Experience with Excel; exposure to tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus

  • CPA track or interest is welcomed but not required
