Fund Accountant - Providence - Hybrid 

A leading PE firm is seeking a Fund accountant to join their lean accounting team. This role reports to the Controller and is a hands-on role. It is suited for a detail-oriented accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
• Support weekly cash reporting, capital calls, distributions, and wire processing
• Assist with quarterly financial statements and audit coordination
• Respond to investor requests and ad hoc reporting needs
• Contribute to special projects across the finance function

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 1+ year experience, ideally Big 4 or other public accounting background
• CPA strongly preferred (or progress toward CPA)
• Strong Excel skills
