    Overview:

    \n

    Spruceview is looking to expand the team to satisfy the needs of our growing client base.

    \n

    Spruceview is looking to hire a Fund Accounting Analyst who is responsible for a variety of data

    \n

    and reporting activities throughout the lifecycle of our separate account and co-mingled funds

    \n

    investment programs. The Fund Accounting Analyst is a role accountable for the reporting and

    \n

    analysis of post-investment activities, as well as liaising with investment and client solutions team

    \n

    members to maintain and support client relationships. The successful candidate must be able to

    \n

    communicate effectively and operate in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while

    \n

    handling competing priorities.

    Responsibilities:

    \n

    Funds/Client accounts:

    \n

     Obtain a solid understanding of our portfolio of investments, their strategies and

    \n

    investment activity for our clients

    \n

     Perform financial forecasting, performance and financial reporting and operational

    \n

    metrics tracking

    \n

     Prepare monthly, quarterly and any ad hoc reports for investors

    \n

     Monitor and review cash transactions

    \n

     Coordinate and initiate capital call and distribution events

    \n

     Serve as a key point of contact for our investment management technology platform,

    \n


    \n

    Addepar

    \n

     Contact third-party investment managers for important partnership correspondence

    \n

     Manage relationships with our fund administrator, banks and related service providers

    \n

     Review financial statements and capital account statements

    \n

     Manage schedule for all filing deadlines

    \n

     Ensure compliance with procedural and reporting standards

    \n

     Lead annual audits and tax engagements, including K-1 and PFIC requirements

    \n

     Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals

    \n

    through analysis

    \n

     Other projects as needed

    \n


    \n

    Qualifications:

    \n

     Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

    \n

     6-8 years’ experience in business/finance

    \n

     Solid understanding of US GAAP investment company financial statements; IFRS a plus

    \n

     Investment performance reporting experience a plus
