Are you a seasoned accounting professional seeking a dynamic opportunity to lead and excel in the management of fund accounting operations? A leading investment firm is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Fund Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations for both close-ended and open-ended funds, ensuring adherence to GAAP
  • Serve as the primary contact for investor inquiries, maintaining investor documents and knowledge
  • Interpret and summarize complex legal documents, including partnership and lender agreements
  • Oversee monthly close activities, including validation of asset management fees and fund-level debt compliance
  • Prepare fund carried interest calculations and manage fund-level cash flow needs
  • Develop and document policies and procedures related to fund accounting functions and internal controls

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • 4-7 years of private equity fund accounting experience, preferably with real estate exposure
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and investment accounting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
