Fund Accounting Manager

Fund Accounting Manager | NYC Endowment Portfolio 

Join a highly respected global organization managing a $5 billion endowment portfolio based in New York City. We're seeking a hands-on Fund Accounting Manager to oversee accounting, financial reporting, audit, tax coordination, and governance for a sophisticated investment organization.

This position will pay between 165-175K on a base salary, depending upon experience and fit

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and financial reporting
• Manage audits, tax processes, and third-party accounting relationships
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Support governance activities, including Audit Committee meetings
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred
• Experience with both fund side and management company accounting is ideal
• 6+ years of Accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills; investment, endowment, or alternative asset experience is a plus
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a hands-on environment
