Fund Accounting Manager - Private Equity - Miami - Hybrid

A leading global private equity investment firm is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of private investment funds while partnering closely with investment professionals, external fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly and annual fund accounting, financial reporting, and capital account maintenance for multiple private equity funds.
• Review capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations, carried interest allocations, and investor reporting.
• Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.
• Coordinate annual audits and support tax reporting processes.
• Monitor fund cash activity, investment transactions, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support new fund launches and other strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of fund accounting experience within private equity, venture capital, or alternative investments.
• Strong knowledge of partnership accounting, fund structures, capital activity, and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience working with fund administrators, auditors, and external service providers.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
