Fund Accounting Support - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Middle Office Analyst I for a hybrid contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: Up to $33.71 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This role involves providing accounting and trading support for financial funds. The ideal candidate will review complex documents for compliance, track fund data and trades, and identify process improvements within a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting and trading support activities for funds of moderate complexity
• Perform reviews of moderately complex documents to confirm compliance with established processes and procedures
• Track fund data and trades
• Maintain records of moderate complexity in accordance with department policies and procedures
• Search for fail points in processes and draft error reports for clients

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and sound judgment when researching issues, identifying root causes, and resolving operational challenges.
• Able to effectively multitask, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver accurate work in a high-volume environment.
• Brings a curious, adaptable, and proactive approach to learning, process improvement, and collaboration across teams.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree
• Mutual Fund experience
• Prior Financial services experience
• Experience in financial services, operations, or accounting-related support roles.
• Familiarity with reconciliation or transaction-based operational processes.
• Exposure to process improvement initiatives, automation, or AI-enabled tools that support operational efficiency and analysis
