Fund Documentation Analysts support investment, legal, compliance, and operations teams by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining fund-related documentation across the fund lifecycle. The role blends strong attention to detail, regulatory awareness, and cross-functional coordination to ensure fund materials are accurate, consistent, and compliant with internal standards and external requirements.
These roles often involve close collaboration with legal counsel, compliance teams, fund administrators, investor relations, and senior management.
Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of fund documentation, including offering memoranda, subscription agreements, side letters, and investor disclosures
Support documentation updates related to fund launches, closings, amendments, and regulatory changes
Coordinate documentation workflows with internal teams (legal, compliance, operations, investor relations) and external service providers
Maintain document version control, approvals, and audit-ready records
Track regulatory, disclosure, and reporting requirements across jurisdictions and fund structures
Respond to documentation requests from investors, auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
Ensure consistency of fund data and disclosures across marketing materials, legal documents, and internal systems
Assist with due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), RFPs, and investor onboarding documentation
Identify documentation gaps, inconsistencies, or process inefficiencies and propose improvements
Prepare internal summaries, checklists, and reporting materials for senior management
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Legal Studies, or a related field
Strong understanding of investment fund structures and documentation processes
Exposure to fund legal, compliance, or operations functions preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and document management skills
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with document management systems is a plus
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and documentation workflows simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in structured, compliance-driven environments
Strong interest in fund governance, documentation, and regulatory processes
