Description

Finance AnalystAnalyze and improve finance, accounting, and reporting processes for private equity and private debt funds. Gather business requirements and translate them into technology solutions and system enhancements. Work with finance, operations, technology teams, and fund administrators to streamline workflows and resolve issues. Help automate reconciliations, improve data quality, and strengthen financial controls and reporting processes. Track performance metrics and prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.A successful Finance Analyst should have: 5-8 years of Finance Analyst or Operations Analyst experience within financial services, with private equity or private debt experience required. Strong knowledge of private markets fund accounting, including NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, management fees, and investor reporting. Experience with fund accounting or portfolio management systems such as Allvue, Investran, Geneva, Yardi, or similar platforms. Proficiency in SQL and databases, with Python skills (Pandas, PySpark) preferred for data analysis and automation. Advanced technical skills in Excel, including financial modeling, Power Query, and VBA. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance, operations, technology teams, and senior leadership.Competitive daily rate offered.
