Fund Formation Attorney: 2nd - 7th year

Cooley LLP has an opportunity available for an attorney with two to seven years of private investment fund formation experience. Candidates must have experience representing sponsors and investors in private investment funds and will have completed fund formation transactions, sponsor-level transactions (involving the general partner and management company entities), and secondary transactions involving limited partner and/or portfolio company interests.Qualifications 2–7 years of private investment fund formation experienceExperience completing fund formation transactions, sponsor-level transactions, and secondary transactionsPrevious work in the corporate department of a national or international law firmHigh level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law schoolStrong representation skills for sponsors and investorsPay and Benefits The expected annual pay range for this position is $235,000 - $420,000; final offer will depend on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, health savings account, dependent care flexible spending accounts, pre‑tax commuter benefits, life insurance, AD&D, long‑term care, backup care, and parental support benefits.
