Fund Operations Accountant - Investment Management - Boston

A Boston-based investment firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fund Operations Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a hands-on opportunity to support investment funds across accounting, fund operations, cash management, and investor reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day accounting and operational activities for the management company and investment funds

• Process vendor invoices, payments, wires, and maintain accurate documentation

• Assist with capital calls, distributions, cash movements, and bank account administration

• Support bookkeeping, reconciliations, expense allocations, and month-end processes

• Assist with quarterly/annual investor reporting, fund audits, and tax reporting

• Maintain investor records and communicate directly with investors, vendors, and external partners

• Support ongoing accounting, reporting, and operational projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or fund operations

• Financial services or alternative investment experience preferred

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
