    About the Role / Position Summary

    The Fund Operations Analyst provides day-to-day support for FEG's proprietary funds. Responsibilities include assisting Fund Operations staff and coordinating routine activities with custodians/banks, third-party vendors, fund administrators, FEG internal parties, and investment managers. The position supports fund-specific administrative and operational tasks and initiatives with the objective of providing accurate and responsive back-office services to the Funds' investors.

    What You'll Do / Position Responsibilities

    • Fund Operations, Accounting & Financial Reporting: Support fund administration activities, including valuation, financial reporting, treasury management, audit support, tax-related processes, and investor relations. Compile financial, investment, and banking information and perform account maintenance and reconciliation activities, escalating discrepancies as appropriate.
    • Cash Management & Capital Activity Execution: Assist with monitoring cash positions and process cash transactions, including wires, transfers, checks, private capital calls, and distributions, in accordance with established procedures and approval requirements. Support the timely reconciliation of capital and treasury-related activities.
    • Investor Relations & Stakeholder Coordination: Support communications with investors, investment managers, and other stakeholders by gathering manager documentation, researching routine investment-related inquiries, assisting with client audit requests, and coordinating follow-up across parties.
    • Vendor Management & Fund Administration Support: Work with third-party service providers and vendors involved in the administration of FEG funds, track requests and deliverables, and escalate service or process issues to appropriate team members.
    • Process Improvement & Operational Excellence: Identify potential process improvements, document procedures, and participate in departmental and cross-functional projects under the guidance of more experienced team members.
    • Team Collaboration & Knowledge Development: Build knowledge of fund operations processes and procedures, share information with team members, and contribute to consistent execution of departmental responsibilities.

    What We Require / Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field.
    • 0-3 years of experience in financial services, fund operations, accounting, or a similar field; exposure to alternative investments is preferred.
    • Ability to identify issues, research routine problems, and seek guidance or escalate matters appropriately.
    • Experienced in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
    • Foundational knowledge of investment operations, accounting principles, or financial markets.
    • High attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills and high work ethic. Must be able to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
    • Basic understanding of alternative investments and a willingness to develop knowledge of related operational processes.
    • Proficient computer skills with ability to learn proprietary software.

    • Engage collaboratively with clients, investment teams and peers.
    • Organize assigned work, manage multiple priorities, and communicate promptly when deadlines or deliverables may be affected.
