A leading investment bank or placement agent may seek a Fund Placement Analyst to support the raising of capital for private equity, real assets, venture, or hedge funds. This role is ideal for candidates looking for hands-on experience with investor relations, fund structuring, and transaction execution in a fast-paced environment.
Support the capital raising process for private funds, including investor targeting, outreach, and relationship management
Build and maintain financial models, fund performance analyses, and IRR projections for fundraising purposes
Conduct market research and benchmark fund performance against peers
Prepare pitch materials, investor presentations, and subscription documents
Assist with due diligence, data room management, and closing of capital commitments
Collaborate with senior bankers, fund managers, and internal teams on capital strategy and investor communications
Track investor interest, update CRM tools, and support reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong skills in financial modeling, fund analytics, and valuation techniques
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, fund advisory, private equity, or capital markets is advantageous
