You will exhibit strong proficiency in interpreting and following Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMIs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and production schedules to effectively execute daily tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
Further, you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives, policies, as business needs arise.
You will follow step-by-step instructions, detailed by senior operators, in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions, and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must-Demonstrated Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong batch chemistry math skills, including the ability to accurately perform calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and weight percentage conversions across various units of measure.
You will work in a challenging environment that is typically temperature-controlled in areas required but often can be hot, dirty, dusty, and humid, while wearing a respirator, flame-resistant FR clothing, and appropriate safety gear in a setting that can be noisy and demands strict adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Responsibilities and Job Requirements:
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining large-scale powder production equipment, including atomizers, spray dryers, power cabinets, blenders, screeners, forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes, and pallet jacks, while working with high-pressure gases, induction-powered furnaces, and high-vacuum equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation in compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
You will complete minor to moderate machine adjustments and maintenance repairs as needed, by utilizing your mechanical skillset.
