About this role The FurnacePalletizer Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the furnace and palletizing equipment to ensure consistent production flow, quality output, and adherence to safety and process standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What Youll Be Doing
Operating and monitoring furnace and palletizer equipment to maintain proper temperature feed rates and product flow. Loading raw materials into the furnace and ensuring correct material mixtures according to production specifications. Inspecting product quality at various stages and adjusting machinery as needed to maintain standards. Monitoring system controls, recording data, and reporting any deviations or malfunctions to the supervisor, engineering, and maintenance. Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment. Stacking, wrapping, and labeling pallets according to company standards and preparing them for storage or shipment. Ensuring the work area is kept clean, safe, and organized. Following all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout processes. Collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow. Assisting with inventory control and material tracking as required.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred • Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools • Ability to read and interpret production instructions, safety guidelines, and quality specifications • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask • Physical Requirements: • Able to move up to 50lbs • Manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately • Comfortable wearing PPE • Able to stand for long periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes • Capable of making repetitive movements, including but not limited to sitting, squatting, and walking up and down stairs • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if required • Comfortable with exposure to high temperatures, noise, and moving machinery
