Job Summary
Liddiard Home Furnishings is looking for a dependable, hardworking Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team!
Our delivery team is one of the most important parts of the customer experience. You will be responsible for safely delivering furniture, appliances, mattresses, and other home furnishings to our customers' homes while providing friendly, professional service.

Responsibilities
- Safely deliver furniture, appliances, mattresses, and other merchandise to customers' homes.
- Load, unload, inspect, and secure merchandise for delivery.
- Carefully maneuver large and heavy furniture through homes, doorways, stairways, and other spaces.
- Assemble and set up furniture and appliances as needed.
- Protect customers' homes and merchandise during delivery.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
- Assist with warehouse duties between deliveries, including receiving, organizing, pulling and preparing merchandise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle and work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a delivery team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate multiple types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans.
- Ability to lift and move 50–100+ pounds regularly.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong attention to detail and care when handling customers' merchandise and homes.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Furniture delivery, moving, warehouse, appliance installation, or assembly experience is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
