Job Opening – Furniture Inspector | Archdale, NC
? Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
? Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Furniture Inspector for a local furniture manufacturer in Archdale.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect upholstered furniture to ensure it meets company quality standards
- Learn quality specifications for all furniture styles produced
- Communicate quality concerns to the supervisor when issues are identified
- Clean finished furniture using a pneumatic air blower to remove dust, fabric strings, and debris
- Trim loose fabric threads as needed
- Steam upholstered furniture to remove wrinkles
- Use approved cleaning solutions to remove dirt or stains when necessary
- Perform minor touch-ups using furniture markers and touch-up pens
- Read order paperwork and verify completed furniture
- Keep work area and order documentation organized
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to learn furniture quality standards
- Ability to read and follow order paperwork
- Must be organized and dependable
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with supervisors and coworkers
- Previous furniture inspection, upholstery, or manufacturing experience is a plus
