Furniture Move Driver

TechTrans International provides language services and travel logistics - language teaching, interpreting, translating, travel coordination and much more. We have international offices, staff and clients calling us from around the world.

We are seeking a Full-Time Furniture Move Driver for our Logistics Contract. This position works under general supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Duties and requirements include:

• Drivers will operate a 26 ft box truck with a capacity of under 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) provided by employer.
• Responsible for timely delivery of furniture, properties or items to customers based on specific routes/schedules.
• Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely services.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures to perform the functions of the job.
• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.
• Maintained vehicle in operable condition, clean, and fueled. Reported any required repairs to supervisor.
• Must have a "satisfactory" driving record.
• Candidates must be able to successfully pass background screening, drug testing, DOT physical and lifting tests.
• Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• At all times, comply with all federal, state, and JSC traffic and safety regulations and procedures.
• At all times perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.
