Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Furniture Mover / Box Truck Driver / Forklift Operator to join a growing team in Oklahoma City. This position combines local delivery driving, warehouse operations, forklift operation, and furniture moving for residential and commercial customers.
The ideal candidate has experience operating a 26-foot box truck and a sit-down forklift, enjoys physical work, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum of 2 years of driving experience
Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Experience operating a 26' box truck required
Previous sit-down forklift experience required
Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull heavy furniture and materials throughout the shift
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to pass a drug screen (including THC) and background check
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Safely operate a 26' box truck to transport furniture, equipment, and materials
Load, unload, move, and secure furniture and other items for residential and commercial customers
Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse and onto delivery vehicles
Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed
Use dollies, moving pads, straps, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect furniture and materials before loading and unloading to prevent damage and ensure accuracy
Protect customer property and company equipment during deliveries and installations
Maintain clean, organized trucks, warehouse areas, and workspaces
Follow assigned delivery routes, schedules, and company safety procedures
Provide professional, courteous customer service while representing the company
Preferred Qualifications
Previous furniture moving or delivery experience
Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience
Forklift certification is a plus
Experience securing oversized or fragile loads
Flexibility to work extended hours when projects require additional time
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy furniture and materials throughout the shift
Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, and repetitive movement
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely operate forklifts, moving equipment, and delivery vehicles
Work Environment
Residential, commercial, office, and warehouse settings
Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Daily use of box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and moving equipment
Required PPE must be worn in accordance with company safety policies
