Furniture Movers - Responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and setting up furniture at residential and commercial locations. The ideal candidate is physically fit, customer-service oriented, must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently, able to pass a fingerprint background check, and enjoys working in a team environment.
Pay & Schedule:
$17.00 per hour
1st Shift: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed
Job Responsibilities:
Load and unload furniture safely from trucks
Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check
Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance
Previous moving, warehouse, delivery, or general labor experience preferred
Move, assemble, and place furniture at residential and commercial locations
Protect furniture, walls, floors, and property during moves
Wrap, pad, and secure items for transport
Follow delivery schedules and route instructions
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and moves
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Ability to stand, bend, twist, push, and pull throughout the shift
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Must be professional, dependable, and customer-focused
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy furniture
Standing and walking for extended periods
Repetitive bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
Ability to safely handle and move large, bulky items
