Lingo Staffing is Now Hiring: Furniture Movers (Heavy Lifting) – Start ASAP!


Furniture Movers - Responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and setting up furniture at residential and commercial locations. The ideal candidate is physically fit, customer-service oriented, must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently, able to pass a fingerprint background check, and enjoys working in a team environment.


Pay & Schedule:
  • $17.00 per hour
  • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed

Job Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload furniture safely from trucks
  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Previous moving, warehouse, delivery, or general labor experience preferred
  • Move, assemble, and place furniture at residential and commercial locations
  • Protect furniture, walls, floors, and property during moves
  • Wrap, pad, and secure items for transport
  • Follow delivery schedules and route instructions
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and moves
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, push, and pull throughout the shift
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Must be professional, dependable, and customer-focused
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy furniture
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Repetitive bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
  • Ability to safely handle and move large, bulky items
