What is the "Future Builders" program?

Lennar's Future Builders Program is designed for highly motivated early career professionals seeking to launch their careers. Participants will develop essential interpersonal and technical skills while working alongside seasoned professionals in a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

Through structured onboarding, hands-on training, and professional development, Future Builders will contribute to impactful projects and gain deep exposure to key areas across Lennar. High-performing participants may have the opportunity to transition into full-time roles upon program completion.

The Technology track is a one-year, developmental program for recent graduates that prepares participants for careers in core business operations. The start date for the program will be June 2027.

Job Responsibilities: Future Builder - QA Engineer

• Design, write, and execute manual test cases for features and bug fixes
• Build and extend automated tests at UI and API levels within existing frameworks
• Analyze requirements and user stories to identify test scenarios and edge cases
• Conduct functional, exploratory, cross-browser, and cross-device testing
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps and verify corrections
• Execute regression, smoke, and release-validation test cycles and monitor CI pipeline results
• Maintain test data, documentation, and traceability matrices
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (high school diploma required)
• QA or development experience or equivalent (internships, co-ops, bootcamp)
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals and defect lifecycle
• Working knowledge of a programming language for test automation (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, JUnit/NUnit/pytest)
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and basic SQL
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills
• Current senior or recent graduate between May 2026 and May 2027.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable asking questions to learn and grow.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to engage in real business discussions.
• Positive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

Upon program completion, the Company will decide whether to offer high-performing RCGs a regular full-time position within similar roles under these verticals, based on factors such as job performance and business needs. It is important to note that placement in the Company post-program is not guaranteed.
