JOB SUMMARY
The Future Leadership Development Program (FLDP) Associate, Program Management is an early-career leadership role designed to accelerate the development of high-potential talent through a structured, cross-functional rotational program.
This two-year program includes four 6-month rotations across your specific functional area, and one rotation in a different key business area, providing hands-on experience, leadership exposure, and the opportunity to solve real business challenges that impact Blue Bird's operations and strategic growth.
FLDP Associates are expected to contribute meaningfully from day one, supporting projects, collaborating across functions, and building the foundational skills required to transition into full-time leadership-track roles upon program completion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Responsibilities - Sales and Marketing
Sales
Account Plan Management: Develop quarterly account plans that identify growth opportunities, prioritize key accounts, and establish strategies to increase market share. Monitor performance against objectives, analyze wins and losses, and adjust account strategies to maximize sales growth and long-term customer success.
Pipeline Management: Partner closely with dealers to maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline, identify opportunities and potential risks, and develop action plans to accelerate opportunities and improve close rates. Provide ongoing support to help dealers successfully convert qualified opportunities into orders.
Parts Sales
Growth analytics: Evaluate transaction history and market trends to evaluate pricing competitiveness within our industry.
Distribution alignment: Compare Dropship to PDC catalogs and provide data supported strategy that drives increased revenue and volumdentifies new cross-selling opportunities for Blue Bird parts and components.
Marketing
Brand positioning: Support multi-channel marketing campaigns that reinforce Blue Bird's market leadership, sustainability messaging, and product innovations.
Sales enablement: Collaborate on promotional content, product launch materials, and digital assets to support regional sales teams and dealerships.
Sales Ops & Analytics
Pipeline optimization: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales funnels using data tools to improve forecasting accuracy and territory management.
Process refinement: Audit operational data to streamline order-to-delivery pipelines and eliminate friction points within the sales cycle.
Service & Fleet Management
Lifecycle support: Work with service and warranty teams to understand post-sale customer success, fleet maintenance, and service-level agreements.
Cross-functional alignment: Act as a program management liaison, gathering field service feedback to help marketing and sales teams refine product positioning.
