Operations Manager

Restoration 1 of Texas Hill Country & Restoration 1 of San Antonio North San Antonio, TX | Full-Time | Salary + Performance Bonus

We're a fast-growing restoration company — water, mold, fire, and reconstruction — on track to double in size this year. That growth is real, and it creates a real need: we need an Operations Manager who can build the engine that runs this company at scale. This is not a maintenance role. We have systems in place, but they need serious work. We need someone who can assess what we have, fix what isn't working, build what doesn't exist, and develop the people who run it. If you're a builder who gets energized by turning chaos into clarity — and takes pride in seeing a team execute at a high level — this role was made for you.

About Us

Restoration 1 of Texas Hill Country and Restoration 1 of San Antonio North provide 24/7 emergency restoration services across the greater San Antonio area. We've built a strong reputation for quality work, professionalism, and genuine care for our customers. Now we're scaling — and we're looking for the right person to grow with us.

What You'll Own

Reporting directly to the owner, you'll manage department heads and be accountable for the full operations function of the business — staffing, training, systems, performance, and execution.

  • Audit existing systems and SOPs; identify gaps and build what's missing across all service lines
  • Manage, coach, and develop department heads; drive a culture of accountability and high performance
  • Track job costs, COGS, and direct labor — and hold the team to targets
  • Prepare and manage the annual operations budget
  • Oversee subcontractor evaluation, negotiation, and contract compliance
  • Manage equipment, vehicles, and supply inventory
  • Ensure accurate flow of production documentation from the field to the office
  • Drive customer satisfaction and quality ratings above company benchmarks
  • Implement new technology that improves how we deliver services
  • Oversee staffing, hiring, training, scheduling, and employee relations
Who You Are

• 5+ years in operations management, including managing other managers

Proven track record in building or significantly improving systems inside a growing company

Strong financial literacy — you can read a P&L, track KPIs, and translate numbers into action

A people developer who holds teams accountable without burning them out

Excellent communicator, both written and verbal

Broad business background spanning operations, HR, admin, and/or sales

Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new software platforms

Restoration industry experience is a plus, not a requirement — we'll teach the industry; we can't teach drive, integrity, or the ability to build systems that scale

What We Value

• Integrity — you do what you say and you don't cut corners

Ownership — you treat this business like it's yours

Coaching mindset — you make the people around you better

Adaptability — in restoration, no two days are the same; you thrive in that environment

Excellence — you set a high bar for yourself and your team, and you hold it

What We Offer

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience

Performance bonus tied to company growth and operational results

A direct seat at the leadership table — your voice matters here

The opportunity to build systems that will shape how this company operates for years to come

Health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options

Paid time off and ongoing professional development
