Description
Purpose/Objective of the Role:
Futurety is a digital analytics company, founded by a local serial entrepreneur. Futurety is seeking an OWU student intern to support branding, marketing strategy, and content development for a growing venture serving healthcare and local small-mid-sized businesses. The intern will help update core marketing materials, conduct competitor and market research, and build a practical content and social media strategy that the team can execute after the internship ends.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Assist with updating slide decks, presentations, and other marketing materials to reflect current Futurety branding.
Support clarification of Futurety's value proposition for target segments (e.g., healthcare organizations, local Small to Medium Businesses (SMB).
Conduct online competitor and market research and summarize key findings.
Help design a social media content calendar and basic content strategy for Huckle.
Produce clear, usable deliverables (updated decks, competitor research document, strategy summary, content calendar).
Participate in regular coaching meetings with the OWU supervisor and check-ins with Futurety team members.
Work independently between meetings, managing time around coursework while meeting agreed deadlines.
Qualifications/Skills:
Currently enrolled Ohio Wesleyan University student.
Preferred class standing: junior or senior; strong sophomores considered.
Coursework or experience in Marketing, Business & Economics, Digital Analytics, or related fields.
Familiarity with basic marketing concepts (target markets, value propositions, content planning).
Strong written communication and presentation/slide creation skills.
Organized, reliable, and able to manage 10-15 hours per week around class commitments.
Professional, comfortable collaborating with external partners in a business environment.
Potential Future Career Benefit:
