Title of Position: FWS-Clinical Simulation Assistant (OSCE Support)

Purpose of Position: The Clinical Simulation Assistant supports high-stakes clinical skills assessments (Objective Structured Clinical Examinations - OSCEs) by ensuring accurate timing, smooth student flow, and adherence to standardized testing protocols. This role is essential to maintaining exam integrity and a professional testing environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute OSCE session flow by managing timed station rotations, ensuring all students move through stations according to the established schedule and standardized procedures
  • Monitor and enforce timing protocols using digital or manual systems to ensure consistency and fairness across all examinees
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and standardized patients to maintain an organized, efficient testing environment before, during, and after examination sessions
  • Provide logistical support including room setup, materials distribution, and signage placement to ensure readiness of all testing stations
  • Troubleshoot minor workflow disruptions in real time and escalate concerns to supervising staff to maintain exam continuity
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling student performance and exam materials
