Wage: $16.80/hour

Marketing & Communications is hiring student photographers and videographers as content specialists. In this role, you will capture compelling visuals that help tell the story of Pacific University. Assignments will have specific deliverables and deadlines and may include event coverage, editorial photography, and limited video projects. You will also assist in managing the university's multimedia database.

Key responsibilities include:

• Attending events and working from a provided shot list
• Capturing high-quality photos and video footage
• Assisting with, and appearing in, content for university social media and marketing materials
• Communicating professionally with subjects and event organizers
• Editing photos and videos for use in university marketing and communications
• Organizing content within the university's multimedia database
• Camera equipment is available for use through Marketing & Communications

General Qualifications

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines
• Previous photography experience or relevant coursework in photography/media arts
• Familiarity with Mac platforms and beginner proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong organizational skills, creativity, and an interest in storytelling
• Flexible and willing to take on assignments with a positive attitude
• Comfortable being featured in photo or video content is a plus
