Job Description:

This position supports the Marketing and Public Relations Department with various administrative and marketing-related tasks to promote South Georgia Technical College.Job Responsibilities:* Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social media content, and website updates.* Research marketing trends, competitor activities, and potential outreach opportunities.* Support event planning and execution for college recruitment fairs, open houses, and community events.* Manage and organize marketing department files, databases, and inventory of promotional items.* Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and answering phones.* Assist with photography and videography for college events and marketing campaigns.* Monitor and track social media engagement and website analytics.* Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Public Relations.Job Qualifications:* Currently enrolled as a student at South Georgia Technical College.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).* Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.* Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) is a plus.* Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
