We attract, develop, and retain a high-performance workforce, comprised of people with diverse backgrounds and a shared drive for excellence. We strive to foster a positive and inclusive work environment that helps employees, and communities, thrive.

Our Purpose:

TERADYNE, where experience meets innovation and driving excellence in every connection. We are fueled by creativity and diversity of thought in our workforce. Our employees are supported to innovate and learn something new every day.

We cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees that respects their own strengths, views, and experiences. We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team – one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.

Opportunity Overview:

We’re seeking a proactive and analytically driven FP&A Analyst to join a newly created, dedicated G&A FP&A team. As Teradyne has grown, our General & Administrative functions — Information Technology, Human Resources, and Facilities in particular — need a finance partner of their own, and this team is being built to provide exactly that.

Reporting to the G&A FP&A Manager, you’ll blend hands-on close execution with forward-looking planning and analysis — owning the mechanics that keep G&A reporting accurate while building the models and tools that make it faster. It’s a visible role on a high-performing team, with real room to grow as the function scales and reskills onto Oracle and AI-enabled tools.

Teradyne is not considering candidates who require sponsorship for this position. We are only considering candidates local to the position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Key Responsibilities

+ Workforce planning (WFP): load actuals, update merit and fringe rates, and resolve discrepancies with HR and Corporate data.

+ Support the G&A Teams with forecasting and reporting and the Facilities team with Lease Management

+ Run the G&A allocation model and tie-out: assess adjustments and send the preliminary forecast to Corporate Accounting.

+ Execute Day 1–3 close entries and adjustments for G&A; run and finalize the AP prepaid report.

+ Load G&A actuals in Oracle; ensure division G&A actuals and forecasts are received and loaded.

+ Review balance sheet reconciliations and complete preliminary review prior to close (Day 3).

+ Review prepaid AP invoices weekly; review prepaid adjustment journal entries and reconciliations.

+ Support G&A QBR materials preparation, actuals reviews, SOX control support, and ad hoc G&A analysis.

+ Partner cross-functionally to streamline financial workflows and advance process automation and reporting enhancements.

All About You :

We seek individuals who share our passion and motivation. Our commitment to customer success drives us to go the extra mile. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.

+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA preferred).

+ 3+ years of progressive experience in Finance or FP&A, ideally supporting G&A or corporate functions.

+ Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.

+ Familiarity with close processes — accruals, journal entries, allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations — a plus.

+ Experience with Oracle, EPM, or Power BI preferred; experience with AI tools a plus.

+ Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage multiple deadlines, and operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

+ Demonstrated success in process improvement and automation projects.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $86,700-138,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
