Pay rate: $53.00 - $66.35 (based on education and experience).
Position Responsibilities:
Leads a team of Maintenance Engineers to execute contracted NAVIR RCM and CBM+ tasks. Perform detailed RCM studies following NAVAIR and SAE JA1011/JA1012 standard. Analyze system functions, failure modes, effects, and consequences to develop optimized maintenance strategies. Utilize FMECA and other reliability data as inputs to RCM processes. Prepare clear, concise RCM analysis reports, including findings, recommendations, and supporting data. Identify and recommend preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks. Evaluate maintenance task effectiveness, feasibility, and cost implications. Support development of maintenance plans and schedules based on RCM outputs. Gather and analyze operational, failure, and maintenance data from multiple sources. Use reliability and failure data to validate and refine RCM recommendations. Support root cause analysis and failure investigations as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Experience with NAVIAR RCM and CBM+
Experience with NAVAIR policies, DoD requirements, and industry best practices.
Experience with reading and understanding engineering drawings
Experience with reading and understanding technical manuals (Tech Order, Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPCs), maintenance manuals, etc.)
Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.A
