Description
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a ContractGame Capture Artist to help create external/internal marketing assets. This role sits within Creative Services, which champions a global team of world-class marketers who have launched industry-leading games and are committed to mentoring, training, and developing the next generation of video game marketers. This role is an on-site role located in Fort Worth, TX.Contract duration is 6+ months.
WHO YOU ARE:
You have experience with game engines and/or mod tools, and video capture software/hardware.
You have a strong understanding of cinematic language and camera technology.
You can navigate a debug workflow for game engines.
You have a strong knowledge and passion for gaming.
You’re able to communicate vision or story through game capture and editing.
You have the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
Be able to work well in a collaborative team environment.
You’re a fast learner with high flexibility, solid organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
Desire to push creative boundaries and deliver outstanding results.
Flexible and team-oriented. Should have good interpersonal and follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Compose and capture live gameplay with player perspective cameras or using detached cameras.
Work in the Unreal Engine 5 editor as needed to overcome technical issues.
Become familiar with in-production titles and update game builds on a weekly basis.
Edit string-outs or short form content in both a supervised and unsupervised capacity.
Generate shot lists based on creative briefs, pitch decks, and editorial string outs.
Work closely with creative directors, producers, and marketing executives to ensure creative vision is achieved.
Report and communicate gameplay issues/bugs to development teams and the creative services team.
Coordinate delivery of produced content for distribution on acceptable channels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
You have experience creating game-related game capture for a development studio or creative agency.
General understanding of Unreal Engine 5.
Experience in creative video editorial work in a post-production facility or creative agency.
Mid-Senior level knowledge of industry standard video editing software.
Adobe Premiere, Audition, Photoshop, After Effects, Davinci Resolve.
General understanding of post-production workflows, video formats and process.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present edits to creative leadership.
Must provide a current demo reel showcasing previous editing and game capture work.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Unreal Engine 5 sequencer.
Working on capture for game trailers and social media
Passionate about the gaming industry and understanding of the different genres and user bases.

Compensation:
This is a contract role and pays between $31.73 - $44.71 an hour.
