Summertown Metals is looking for a self-starting individual to work in our Garage Door department as a scheduler. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7 am - 5pm. This position is eligible for benefits that include medical, dental, vision, critical illness, hospital indemnity, STD, LTD, Life, 401K, PTO and vacation time. Job duties include, but are not limited to - Installer schedule, coordinate new installations, and repairs.
- Provide support to installer for any on site issues they encounter, as the garage doors professional.
- Assist with customer scheduling, to include communication with customer to confirm they are ready, are aware of what is being installed, and to communicate any schedule changes.
- Complete installer Work Orders and have in them in boxes by 10am daily.
- Communicate with installers throughout the day to track progress of installations, encountered issues, and completed repairs.
- Send repair jobs to original installers to resolve quality issues or verify if they would like us to resolve in house or with another installers for a fee. ($450 per day per man minimum)
- Communicate job issues with Department Lead and discuss to determine remediation action.
- Assist with follow up with customers, post installation/repair, to make sure they are happy with their install/repair and that there are no issues we need to address.
- Assist team with keeping inventory tracking up to date, as needed.
- Assist with inventory audits to make sure necessary changes are made to inventory records.
- Communicate job issues with Department Lead and discuss to determine remediation action.
- Communicate builder issues with CS Department and follow up with remediation.
- Help Garage Door team keep installers accountable.
- Assist with any other Garage Doors department items as needed.
- Be available to answer phone calls from installers, customers, and office staff.
