GARAGE MECHANIC - Magnolia, NC
SUMMARY: Works under supervision of Garage Supervisor. Completes service calls as directed by the supervisor. Maintains accurate records to insure the most efficient work and detailed daily activity sheets.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to diagnose all types of mechanic equipment.
Able to repair diagnosed problems on multiple types of mechanic equipment.
Able to perform General PM Service on vehicles, farm machinery, heavy equipment, irrigation equipment, small engines, etc.
Experience in diagnostic computer a plus and use of welding torch and equipment a plus.
CDL a plus
Ability to communicate with a diverse group of people is a must.
REQUIREMENTS: Must provide their own general purpose tools. Keep accurate notes, records and paperwork. Willing to learn all aspects of gasoline and diesel engines. Current Drivers License in Good standing. ASE Certification.
Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Ability to stoop, stand, squat, climb and crawl under equipment.
