What This Role Really Is

This is not a typical retail position.

You’ll be working directly with customers every day—helping them choose the right plants, understand their soil, and make better decisions for their yard using organic, natural products.

If you enjoy diagnosing problems, sharing knowledge, and helping people succeed, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working one-on-one with customers to understand their goals and challenges
• Recommending plants, soils, and organic solutions tailored to North Texas conditions
• Explaining the why behind your recommendations so customers feel confident moving forward
• Helping customers build healthier soil and more resilient landscapes over time
• Creating a helpful, approachable experience that keeps customers coming back

What We’re Looking For

• Strong, natural customer communication skills — you can explain things clearly without overcomplicating them
• Solid hands-on gardening experience, especially in North Texas conditions
• Previous experience in a garden center, nursery, or similar environment
• A genuine interest in organic gardening
• Someone who is curious, dependable, and takes pride in helping people get it right

What to Expect

• You’ll be working outdoors, including during Texas summers
• Weekend availability is part of the role
• This is a high-interaction position—your ability to connect with customers matters just as much as your knowledge
